The latest version of the LimeWire Credence software is Version 1.4,
released on January 19, 2006. Version 1.4 is much more powerful
than previous versions:
- You can now vote on specific aspects of a file, like the
bitrate or file type, rather than simple up/down votes.
- Startup and overall performance is much faster, especially
when you have cast many votes.
- The search results now give much more information, such as
when a single file claims to have multiple names or bitrates,
so you know what you are downloading before you
download it.
We encourage all Credence users to upgrade from earlier versions
to version 1.4. Your existing settings and file ratings will not
be lost when upgrading.
