CS Professor Lillian Lee has been re-elected as Secretary of the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (NAACL)

Computer Science Associate Professor Lillian Lee was re-elected to a two-year term as Secretary of the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (NAACL). The Association for Computational Linguistics is the premier international scientific professional society for people working on problems involving natural language and computation; the North American chapter has approximately 900 members.

Lee's main research interests are natural language processing and learning, concentrating on the development of "knowledge-lean" statistical methods allowing computers to automatically learn linguistic and domain knowledge directly from text. She is a past recipient of an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship.
