CS Professr Thorsten Joachims selected to receive KDD-06 Best Paper Award

"Training Linear SVMs in Linear Time", has been selected for the KDD-06 Best Paper Award.

This decision was made by the Best Paper Awards Committee which read and considered the 12 top-ranked papers from among the 457 submissions the conference received for the Research Track.

The paper will be presented during a special "Best Papers" session during KDD-06.
