By setting the "ip_mcast" argument of property UDP to false, IP multicasting is disabled, e.g.:
"UDP(ip_mcast=false):..."
Whenever a message is received from the layer above it and IP multicasting is disabled, UDP sends the message as unicast message to each member of the current membership (which UDP caches whenever receiving a VIEW event, cf. 4.1.2).
