Welcome to the CS100A Grading Page!
Grade Composition:
The grades for CS100A are computed as follows:
| Final Grades |
| Assignments - 20% |
| Prelim 1 - 10% |
| Prelim 2 - 20% |
| Prelim 3 - 20% |
| Final - 30% |
Your letter grade will be based on your total score.
Grading Scale:
- The actual cutoffs between letter grades will not be decided until the end
of the course.
- The final grades will be no lower than the grades
shown in the table below.
| Minimum Score | Guaranteed Grade |
| 92 | A- to A+ |
| 82 | B- to B+ |
| 65 | C- to C+ |
| 60 | D- to D+ |
- Scores falling below 65 will be looked at individually to determine the
appropriate grade.
- The minimum scores may be lowered if the letter grades are deemed too low.
