The talks in the Graphics/Vision Seminar stem from current research, and they can be of various types:
- A talk about a research project that has been submitted for publication, explaining what you accomplished and where you plan to take it next.
- A talk about a research project in progress, starting with the prior work and ending with current results and plans of what to do next.
- A talk about a project that’s still just an idea, covering the background and outlining a tentative plan of attack.
- Some other kind of talk (e.g. “State of the art in X”) that’s relevant to your research and of interest to people doing research in graphics and vision.
