Subscribing to the 514 newsgroup on Windows with Outlook Express:

· Open Outlook Express

· Click Tools --> Accounts --> Add --> News…

· Enter name and e-mail. Enter newsstand.cit.cornell.edu as the news server. Click Finish

· Close the "Internet Accounts" window

· Outlook Express should pop up a window saying "Would you like to download newgroups for the account you added?". Click Yes

· Outlook Express will download a huge list of newsgroups (might take a while).

· It should then pop up a search window. Search for 514. Newsgroup cornell.class.cs514 should show up. Subscribe to the newsgroup. (You can get to the search window yourself by right-clicking on " newsstand.cit.cornell.edu" listed on the left-pane and selecting "Newsgroups...")
