Using the Intelligent Scissors Tool
I used the intelligent scissors tool to cut myself out of the non-chainsaw juggling photo.
This produced a mask that I used with GIMP to get a picture of only me juggling
(minus the balls and background) and to cut the guy juggling out of the chainsaw juggling picture.
This gave the following two pictures

Final Step in Creating the Artifact
I used the layering tool in GIMP to merge these last two images into a picture of me juggling chainsaws.
