12/9/00: Solutions to prelim 2 has been posted. Go to prelim 2 web page.
12/5/00 PRELIM 2 We will meet in 310 Rhodes Hall 11-1 ON FRIDAY 12/6/00. I've been told that it is it's just to the right, as you get off the elevator.
we will be distributing the prelims and doing regrades on the spot! The grades will be adjusted after the final to fit the grade distribution i have currently. in other words, i will not change anyone's grades that does not take the final, and therefore i'll fit people that take the final in the current letter grade assignment.

11/28/00 Homework 5 solutions and review session slides have been posted.

11/13/00 Note that the material for the prelims and the final exams are not only those covered by homeworks. the reading list will be posted.

11/08/00 Regrade For Hw 3: LAST TIME TO SUBMIT REGRADES: CLAS OF 11/16

All students are requested to re submit question 4c of homework 3 for regrading. Only the question 4c need to be re submitted either to Rama or to Tammy or in class.

10/28/00 Late Submissions of Hw 3:

All late submissions to be made on saturday will be made by sending an electronic version by email to ramasv@cs.cornell.edu. The date and time on the e-mail will be taken as the date and time of submission. This must be followed by a paper submission on monday to tammy or rama. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The paper submission will be graded.

9/26/00 Regrade requests for homework #1:
Please approach the TA whose initial appears on your graded homework #1 first for any regrade requests. In case you cannot decipher the initial, you can take the paper to Rama (UP5154) for regrade requests.

9/14/00 Home work 1 Late Submissions:
home work 1 can be submitted by sliding under the door of 4119 from 3Pm on friday to 6PM on saturday. 10% of the points will be penalized for this.
home work 1 can be submitted by sliding under the door of 5154 from 6PM on saturday to 8AM on monday. 20% of the points will be penalized for this.
