New section Due to lack of attendance by 2111 students, we are converting one of the 2111 sections to 2110 to alleviate some overcrowding in the 2110 sections. The new section is on Wednesday evenings, 7:30-8:20pm, HLS 306. Atul and Anthony J will be your hosts. If your section is overcrowded and you would like a little more breathing space, consider attending that one. You do not need to change your registration (in fact you can't, it's still officially 2111).

A4 v2 We've released a new version of the project source (with an updated writeup), available on CMS.  We've fixed several bugs and cleaned up the source and documentation for this release.

You do not need to switch to the new version if you've already started, but we think that v2 will be more pleasant to work with.  The parts that you need to implement are exactly the same, and are still marked with "TODO for A4".  Take advantage of the "Tasks" view in Eclipse to find them.

Please don't hesitate with any questions you might have.

requirements
CS 2111 will no longer be required of new students for the CS major or for affiliation. For A&S and Engr students in this category, you may drop 2111 before Nov. 14 without annotation on your transcript (but I hope you don't!). More senior students should not drop; please see Dexter if you have questions.
