Topics vary depending upon instructor. Recent offerings have covered object-oriented software development methodologies and tools, distributed computing, fault-tolerant systems, and network operating systems or databases. Students undertake a substantial software project. Many students obtain additional project credit by co-registering in CS 490, 515, or 790.
