The Cornell Outstanding Educator Award is given when a faculty member is chosen by a Cornell Merrill Presidential Scholar --one of the best 30 or 40 graduating seniors-- as the faculty member who had the most positive influence on their Cornell education.

The Fox Prize is given annually to a person under 31 in the field of numerical analysis. Competitors must submit a recent work in the field. The winner is chosen based on the quality of the work as well as a presentation of that work

The Fulkerson Prize is given jointly by the AMS and the Math Program Society. It is given every three years, for a single paper published in the previous six years in discrete mathematics. The judging of papers is based on their mathematical quality and significance. The six years is in recognition of the fact that the value of fundamental work cannot always be immediately assessed.

The ACM/EATCS Godel Prize is awarded annually for an outstanding paper (or collection of papers) in the area of theoretical computer science that appeared in a journal during the past six years.
