• GCX (2005-2007) - a streaming XQuery processor.
• FluXQuery (2003-2005) - an optimizing XQuery implementation for streaming XML.
• Arb (2002-2003) - an efficient and expressive query engine for node-selecting queries on XML in secondary storage.
• XMLTaskForce XPath (2001-2002) - an (almost) complete implementation of XPath 1, and the only such system with guaranteed polynomial-time query evaluation.
• XML Stream Attribute Grammars (XSAGs; 2002-2003) - linear-time (streaming) tree transformation queries.

• DLV (1996-2003) - "the" state-of-the-art nonmonotonic reasoning / answer set programming system. (This project is still ongoing, but I have left.)
• XDES (1998-2001) - a query optimizer for path queries that uses graph simulation.
• LIXTO (2001-2002) - visual Web wrapper generation.
• CINDREW (1998-2001) - a query rewriting system for data integration.
